The client's finance team spent significant time manually reviewing and auditing expense reports. The process was slow, inconsistent, and couldn't scale with growing transaction volumes. Manual receipt validation against expense claims was tedious and error-prone.
Our Solution
Implemented an AI-driven automation system leveraging OCI Generative AI with Llama 4 Maverick for multi-document processing. Integrated Oracle VBCS for configurable audit rules, Oracle Integration Cloud for event-driven workflows, and a Python backend on OCI Compute to orchestrate operations. The system automatically extracts receipt data, validates expenses against policy rules, and generates audit reports.
The Results
The platform achieved production deployment with full workflow automation. Automated data extraction from receipt images with multi-document capability, configurable audit rules enabling policy adjustments without code modifications, and integrated report generation directly within Oracle Fusion records.
